This directory contains the latest version of PennMUSH, which is
being actively developed by the PennMUSH Development Team
<pennmush-developers@pennmush.org> following the retirement of
Javelin/Paul in July of 2006.
If you get a distribution from this directory, please BE SURE YOU TAKE
ANY PATCHES with higher patchlevel numbers that are here as well -
they apply to the current distribution!
All distribution restrictions of PennMUSH are applicable (see hdrs/copyrite.h
when you unpack the source)

The official location for the latest version of PennMUSH is:
http://www.pennmush.org
Starting with 1.7.2, version numbers that are even (like 1.7.4)
are stable releases - patchlevels on the latest stable release
will only be issued to fix serious bugs.
Version numbers that are odd (like 1.7.3) are development releases -
patchlevels on the latest development release may include new features
as well as bugfixes, and development releases may not be as stable as
stable releases.
Releases prior to July 2006 are signed with PGP, using the key found in
Javelin.pgp in this directory.
